![]() ![]() This kind of lifestyle is totally against God's will. We fortify ourselves so that we are prevented from relating to others and others cannot access us. If we love ourselves too much, the attention to focus on ourselves is very dominant. We can understand in the association between relatives and friends, that an excessive act or attitude is not a good way of living and is not recommendable. ![]() This is, of course, different from loving ourselves excessively. So loving ourselves in this context is making ourselves a good presence, making a good impression, making others feel comfortable, and as a way of welcoming others around us. On the other hand, the wife is expected to create a feeling at home and happy in front of her husband with the appearance that the husband expects. He must be present for others, especially his wife in a situation that makes her happy and comfortable. If a husband is reminded to present himself well, this means he needs to take care of himself. ![]() This mutual warning between husband and wife gives us an understanding of loving ourselves. There is a housewife warned her husband by saying this: "Papa, your hair should be neatly combed and you will be looked good, don't look like someone just comes from the forest." On the other hand, her husband also replied with a warning by saying: "Mama, don't dress flashy, so you don't become the talk of many neighbours."
